The Hawaii Department of Health, whicyh now updates its online H1N1 coungteach Wednesday, said there are now 298 confirmed cases in There were 98 new cases confirmed on Oahu this week for a totapl of 288 cases. Kauai and Maui addeds a case eachthis week. They each have a totap of three cases. The Big Island, whic has four cases, did not reporf any new cases this week. Most have recoveredx or are recovering fromthe illness. The Centers for Disease Control and Preventio n said thatmost U.S. cases have not been severed and are comparable in severity to seasonal Hawaii residents with questions about H1N1 flu cancall 767-5044 ext. 3 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
